Linda Barrow Martin, 60 of Flagstaff, died unexpectedly Aug. 10, 2008.
She was born in Tucson on April 2, 1948, and lived in several other Arizona cities, New Mexico and Missouri before moving to Flagstaff in 2002. She was a loving daughter, wife, and mother, whose vibrant radiance illuminated the lives of all who knew her. Linda had a passion for the study and preservation of Native American culture and was an archaeologist for the U.S. Forest Service for much of her career. She was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and hiking in Arizonas mountains and pine forests.
She is survived by her husband, Fred L. Martin; mother Virginia R. Barrow; brother David Barrow; and children Daniel McWhorter, Kenley McWhorter, Scott McWhorter, Ryan Kelley and Erin Kelley-Araujo.
