Maryannette Corneveaux Bednar

left us on Tuesday February 25,2025 at the age of 76. She bravely battered cancer and Alzheimers. She did a great job. She is survived by two nephews, George & Gavin Corneveaux. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother George Corneveaux, Sr ., to whom she was very close.

  Maryannette  was born June 2, 1948 in Marshfield, Wisconsin. Shee moved to Tucson at about 9 years old. She was a Palo Verde Titan graduating 1966. After attending U of Az. she taught high school language arts. In later years she volunteered at Harelson Elementary  in Tucson until 2019. Maryannette  was an avid swimmer, sun & water lover and a great animal trainer. She loved loved loved animals and the water. She worked at the Shedd Aquarium  in Chicago working with both dolphins and whales.

   She won't be at the gym at 5am everyday anymore, but you can bet she will be missed by her fellow athletes.  Rest in Peace.
